Vivo has launched a new smartphone called the Vivo Z5i in China. The smartphone is priced at RMB 1,798 which roughly translates to Rs 18,300. Vivo has launched the phone with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the Vivo Z5i specifications, the smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch display, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.30 per cent. There is a fingerprint sensor placed on the back panel of the smartphone.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which is the same chipset that we see inside the Vivo U20 launched last week in India.
The Vivo Z5i comes with a triple camera set up at the back. The set-up includes a 16MP main sensor with an f/1.78 lens, 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture for macro shots. There is a 16MP camera lens on the front for selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the new Vivo Z5i comes with support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro-USB port. The phone is available in two colour options- Jade Blue and Onyx Black colour options.
Vivo V17 launch expected in December 2019: Vivo plans to launch yet another V-series phone, the Vivo V17, in India. The incoming media reports suggest that the phone could hit the Indian shores by the second week of December.
To recall, Vivo first launched the V17 in Russia earlier this week. The phone comes with the same Snapdragon 665 chipset as seen inside the Vivo S1 Pro. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable.
The smartphone sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution. The Vivo V17 relies on a 4500mAh battery and comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security.
The smartphone comes with a quad-camera set up at the back which consists of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP sensor for ultrawide shots, 2MP lens for macro shots and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 32MP selfie camera with gesture control feature.
