Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro handsets in its home market China. Here are all the important details about the two handsets.

Xiaomi the Chinese mobile manufacturing company is all set to launch its next budget smartphone – the Redmi 7 in its home market alongside the launch of the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Redmi Note 7 Pro China-spec variant has been teased to be a bit different its Indian counterpart that launched recently. The Redmi 7 is expected to boast of a 6.26 inch screen and run on the current Android 9 Pie.

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 is likely to be priced at around CNY 700 to CNY 800 (approximately Rs. 9,300). There is yet no details about the device’s expected price in India, but it will be similar to the Chinese pricing.
If the Redmi Note 7 Pro’s Indian price is taken into consideration, then it will start at around CNY 1,399 in China. Nevertheless, if the Chinese version is really different than the Indian model, then pricing might be quite different as well.

Redmi 7
It has already come to light that the Redmi 7 gets a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR (infrared) blaster, and will draw its juice from a large battery. Reports have revealed that the new handset will be featuring a 6.26 inch HD+ display, a 3,900 mAh battery pack, and will run on Android Pie OS. It will be powered with an octa-core processor and will be available in 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB RAM choices and 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of onboard storage options. It is expected to be featuring Snapdragon 632SoC.


Redmi Note 7 Pro
The listing report of the Redmi 7 also says that the device will be offering a dual camera setup at its rear. One of these will get a 12 megapixel sensor, while the other features an 8 megapixel sensor. The Redmi 7 would also come in many colour optios including Black, White, Grey, Blue, Pink, Green and Purple. It has been also revealed that the device will measures 158.65mmx76.43mmx8.47mm and weighs at just 180 grams. The handset’s 3,900mAh battery pack was also revealed. The smartphoe will also get an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and fingerprint sensor.

The India-spec Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android Pie with MIUI 10. The device flaunts a 6.3 inch full-HD+ display with waterdrop-style display notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It gets powered by 11nm, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC that is supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM options and 64GB or 128GB onboard storage choices with storage expandability of up to 256 GB through microSD card.

The India-spec Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android Pie with MIUI 10. The device flaunts a 6.3 inch full-HD+ display with waterdrop-style display notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It gets powered by 11nm, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC that is supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM options and 64GB or 128GB onboard storage choices with storage expandability of up to 256 GB through microSD card.

The Note 7 Pro offers a dual rear camera setup including a 48 megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and a 5 megapixel secondary depth camera, while the front facing selfie camera gets a 13 megapixel sensor.
