Tata Motors is all set to launch the Nexon electric vehicle in India in January 2020. Expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom), Tata Nexon EV will rival against Hyundai Kona and soon-to-be-launched MG ZS EV.

We have already informed you that the Nexon electric vehicle will be available in XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants. Below are the features each of these variants will have.

The new Nexon EV is powered by a 3-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor that churns out 129 PS and 245 Nm of peak torque. It gets an IP67-certified 30.2 kWh li-ion battery that can be charged up to 100 per cent from 20 per cent in eight hours using a regular 15 AMP plug point charger and up to 80 per cent from 0 per cent in 60 minutes through a fast charger (CCS 2). The battery has a warranty of eight years or 1.60 lakh kilometres. Tata Nexon electric vehicle will have a range of more than 300 kilometres.
