Technical mistakes in filling the form
At the same time, the biggest vacancy of Railways was taken out for more than one lakh (103769) posts. Under this, recruitment is to be done in all zonal railways and production units of railways. For this, Railways got more than 1 crore (11567284) applications. But in these applications made online, a large number of technically incorrect photographs and signatures were used. Due to which about 5 and a half lakh (548829) applications were canceled.

CAT order
After a dispute over this, the matter reached the CAT i.e. Central Administrative Tribunal. After the order of CAT, Railways will provide an online link to such candidates by 15 December 2021. On this, a technically wrong photo or signature can be changed. Only after that the list of successful applicants will be final and the recruitment process for these posts will be back on track.
