OTT platform viewing grew exponentially during the 2020 shutdown. OTT platforms are very popular not just in India but globally. During the shutdown, several online programmes and films did very well. For Hindi content, 2020 began with Netflix’s online series Ghost Stories. Then came OTT sites like Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Zee5, Alt Balaji, and Voot. Special OPS, Asur, and Panchayat won high praise and statistics. The year closed with ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ on Sony LIV.
As the year 2021 begins, tremendous storylines are poised to unravel. We simply hope that next year’s web series quality and variety is as wonderful as this year’s. Here are the most anticipated Hindi online shows of 2021.
Mirzapur 3
Mirzapur 3 is first. Prime Video renewed the criminal drama for a third season after a smashing second season. The last season ended on a massive cliffhanger, so fans are really enthusiastic for the new season. Season 2 leaves many unsolved questions. The following season may arrive around the end of 2022.
Family Man 2 & 3
The Family Man’s first season debuted in September 2019. The play, starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, got rave reviews. The fans adored it all. The plot follows a middle-class guy who covertly works as an intelligence officer for the T.A.S.C, a fake arm of the National Investigation Agency. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, so fans are eagerly anticipating the second. In 2021, Amazon Prime Video will debut The Family Man 2.
After a tremendously successful second season, fans are eagerly anticipating The Family Man 3.

Kota Factory 2
It was the top-rated Indian online series in 2019. It made headlines for being truthful, simple, and direct. Session two has been renewed. TVF followed Kota Factory with Hostel Days and Panchayat.

Made in Heaven 2
Made in Heaven followed Tara and Karan, two wedding planners in Delhi who own a company called Made in Heaven. Made In Heaven co-creator Zoya Akhtar revealed a second season on Instagram. Amazon Prime Video revealed 14 new series in January 2020. Due to the shutdown, the programme will now air in 2021.
Inside Edge 3
Inside Edge has been renewed for a third season by Amazon Prime Video. It was announced in January 2020. The manufacturing was well underway before the corona epidemic. Inside Edge Season 3 will be available on Amazon Prime Video in late 2021.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness
Ajay Devgn will feature in Rudra: The Edge of Darkness on Disney+ Hotstar. The Singham star will play a policeman. 2021 is the planned release date for the Hotstar Specials series.
