Samsung Galaxy A51 leaks online ahead of December 21 launch

South Korean smartphone brand Samsung is set to expand its Galaxy A series with the launch of Galaxy A51 on December 21. The upcoming phone has been subject to various leaks and rumours recently. Now, ahead of its official launch, the handset’s images have allegedly appeared online on SamMobile’s website. In the leaked images, the smartphone can be seen featuring a punch hole display housing the front camera. The phone is seen sporting thinner side bezels. What is more noticeable is the L-shaped camera module at the back. It shows a total of four camera aligned together to form a L-shape.

will come in four colour options – Prism Crush White, Black, Pink and Blue colors. It says that the phone will come powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 processor paired with up to 128GB of onboard storage. The handset is rumoured to come in two RAM models- 4GB and 6GB with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also feature a microSD card slot to expand the storage by up to 512GB.

The phone may weigh 172gram and offer 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9mm size dimensions. Samsung Galaxy A51 is likely to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. There is no rear fingerprint sensor in the shared images, which also hints that the phone may come equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. The device is rumoured to pack 4,000mAh battery. It is expected to come with a 15Watt fast charge support as well.

On the camera front, the device is said to boast of a 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0. Other sensor may include a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro-lens. The front camera may consist of a 32MP lens for selfies.
