Maruti Suzuki India has launched the top-spec VXI+ variant of its popular hatchback Alto for an introductory price of Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from all the features available with the VXI trim, Maruti Suzuki Alto VXI+ gets an additional 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Alto facelift was launched earlier this year in April. The hatchback is powered by a BS6-compliant, 3-cylinder, 796 cc petrol engine that develops 48 hp and 69 Nm of torque. The CNG variant makes 41 hp and 60 Nm of peak torque. The motor is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki Alto is available in four variants — STD, LXI, VXI and VXI+. Below are the variant-wise price details (ex-showroom, Delhi) of the new Alto.
— Alto STD – Rs 2.89 lakh
— Alto STD (O) – Rs 2.92 lakh
— Alto LXI – Rs 3.45 lakh

The new Alto VXI+ gets features like body-coloured bumpers and outside door handles, dual-tone interiors, fabric + vinyl seat upholstery, power steering and windows, driver and co-driver sun visor, remote back door opener, central door locking, remote keyless entry and internally adjustable ORVM.
So far as safety features are concerned, Maruti Suzuki Alto VXI+ comes with ABS and EBD, reverse parking sensor, driver and co-driver airbag, speed alert system and driver and co-driver seat belt reminder.
